Coming from Campinas, in Brazil, Kamala has been active since 2003, mixing oriental harmonies with the energy of Thrash Metal, but always focused on a powerful stage performance. 

This long time on road made them start touring outside of Brazil and since 2013, they’ve done 7 European tours, visiting places like Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Poland. 

The result of these constant tours was not only the album “Live in France” in 2019, which was elected as the ‘best live album’ by many Brazilian magazines and Heavy Metal websites, but the band also called attention of the French Label M&O Music that signed with them to release their 6th album “Karma” in 2023. 

The album’s promotion took Kamala to their 7th tour in Europe in 2023, but this time, they could perform three from all concerts in a different way, having the French Orchestra “Union Musicale en Combrailes” alongside with them. 

These shows were one of themes that Kamala became part in the “Diabolus in Musica” exposition on the "Philharmonie de Paris” from April to September in 2024. It put Kamala as one of the few Brazilian bands (together with Sepultura, Sarcófago and Max Cavalera with Soulfly) in a huge exposition of Heavy Metal, with iconic years of history and many materials from bands and artists from all around the world. 

Also in 2024, the band promoted “Karma” with a lot of Brazilian gigs, including important festivals like “Abril Pro Rock” (the biggest festival of Northeast of Brazil), and “SBO Rock Fest”, where they performed as the opening act for Sepultura for the 3rd time.
